A new apostolic generation is arising! It is a generation of believers who are ready to move forward, overcome, and occupy their full inheritance. It is a generation that understands how to bring heaven’s dominion into experiential reality on earth. The trumpets of heaven are sounding forth the call to assemble; alliances for conquest are coming together to break through that which has been holding the church in suspension. Dominion Surges is an equipping manual for mobilizing the Body of Christ into an offensive posture, restoring in us a sense of dominion and power over the enemy. In this insightful book you will learn how to create surges of spiritual breakthrough by combining the Word, worship, the prophetic, and prayer into one; unfolding our beliefs into words of action, intent, and pursuit. Dominion Surges will equip you to go forth and effectively expand the dominion of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords in your personal life and where you live. It will also teach you how to affect spiritual breakthrough in your city, or region through the synergistic affect of strategic alliances. The author includes crafted prayers, proclamations and decrees for healing, provision and breakthrough in your life, your region and the nations. Get ready to experience breakthrough! Chapter titles include: The Breakthrough Generation - Alliances for Conquest - When You Hear the Sound - Prophetic Pressure Principle - Preparation for Praise Pursuits - Setting your GPS (Glory Positioning System) - Identifying Your Terrain - Warfare Prayers and Decrees - Releasing the Weapons of the Lord - Provision, Promises, Prayers and Pursuits - Prayer and Proclamations for the Nations - Ministry Preparation and Meditations From the Foreword I was having lunch with Randy DeMain after a film shoot at our studio in Maricopa, Arizona. He passionately shared some of his revelation on dominion surges. I actually experienced a true Holy Spirit surge of excitement in my spirit as he shared. I said, “Randy, you MUST come and share this message with our team.” I then asked him if he had a book on this subject. He replied, “I am actually currently working on it.” I was ecstatic and could hardly wait to get this valuable tool into my hands! This is such a powerful and timely message. It is both prophetic and apostolic. Randy DeMain gives you and me powerful keys to releasing the surges. As you read his book, Dominion Surges, you will receive insight, infusion, and impartation. You will be blessed, empowered, and equipped. You will never be the same! Thanks, Randy, for giving us this valuable Kingdom tool. Keep surging! Keep blowing and demolishing the devil’s circuits! What is the single most important common thread that unites all American Presidents - such a small number of extraordinary people from different centuries, parties, backgrounds and experiences - as they shoulder the overwhelming responsibilities of the office of President of the United States? There is only one possible answer: their faith. As a respected national leader and a man of deep faith himself, Senator Rand Paul has written OUR PRESIDENTS & THEIR PRAYERS in collaboration with James Randall Robison to remind us all that in a country founded by religious people, that abiding and rock-solid belief in God has been the key to each and every president's strength. Senator Paul's inspiring look into the heart-felt sentiments and personal prayers of leaders past and present becomes a powerful testament to our incredible accomplishments: winning the Revolution, writing the Constitution, and leading the world as the most exceptional and longest-lasting democracy in history. It's nothing short of a miracle, then and now. Every man who has answered the people's call to become President has looked for and found answers in his faith as he faced the nation's problems, and each president has frequently described his reliance on the Creator in his public speeches, official proclamations and private prayers. Join Senator Paul in applauding the important role faith has played in our country through over 225 years of triumphs and struggles, justice and injustice, accomplishments and setbacks, war and peace. In OUR PRESIDENTS & THEIR PRAYERS, Senator Paul stands up to the doubters in this most timely and important affirmation of how faith and prayer have always guided us, and why they must continue to do so as we face major decisions for the future of our country.

The First Amendment guarantee that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion" rejected the millennium-old Western policy of supporting one form of Christianity in each nation and subjugating all other faiths. The exact meaning and application of this American innovation, however, has always proved elusive. Individual states found it difficult to remove traditional laws that controlled religious doctrine, liturgy, and church life, and that discriminated against unpopular religions. They found it even harder to decide more subtle legal questions that continue to divide Americans today: Did the constitution prohibit governmental support for religion altogether, or just preferential support for some religions over others? Did it require that government remove Sabbath, blasphemy, and oath-taking laws, or could they now be justified on other grounds? Did it mean the removal of religious texts, symbols, and ceremonies from public documents and government lands, or could a democratic government represent these in ever more inclusive ways? These twelve essays stake out strong and sometimes competing positions on what "no establishment of religion" meant to the American founders and to subsequent generations of Americans, and what it might mean today.

The Oxford Handbook of Church and State in the United States

Study of church and state in the United States is incredibly complex. Scholars working in this area have backgrounds in law, religious studies, history, theology, and politics, among other fields. Historically, they have focused on particular angles or dimensions of the church-state relationship, because the field is so vast. The results have mostly been monographs that focus only on narrow cross-sections of the field, and the few works that do aim to give larger perspectives are reference works of factual compendia, which offer little or no analysis. The Oxford Handbook of Church and State in the United States fills this gap, presenting an extensive, multidimensional overview of the field. Twenty-one essays offer a scholarly look at the intricacies and past and current debates that frame the American system of church and state, within five main areas: history, law, theology/philosophy, politics, and sociology. These essays provide factual accounts, but also address issues, problems, debates, controversies, and, where appropriate, suggest resolutions. They also offer analysis of the range of interpretations of the subject offered by various American scholars. This Handbook is an invaluable resource for the study of church-state relations in the United States.

Keys to Overcoming the Enemy Christian, do you suffer from an unbridled temper, overpowering sinful habits, overwhelming sadness, or any number of other spiritually defeating issues? Are you seemingly unable to establish and maintain positive, meaningful relationships with others? Counselor or Pastor, do you sometimes wonder why you have such limited authority over evil spirits; and why, after evicting them one week, the same spirits show up again the next week? In Delivering the Captives, Alice Smith draws on her thirty-five years of deliverance ministry around the world to expose some of Satan's "slickest strategies." She explains how he deceives us into building spiritual strongholds in our own lives through willful sin so his demons can operate, develop into strongmen, and access levels of dominion over us. Let Alice show you how to detect and defeat strongmen, and precisely why Jesus said we must bind the strongmen before we dismantle their strongholds and permanently dismiss them. Here are your guidelines, including Alice's much sought-after list of Apparent Demonic Groupings which reveals how demons work together. Here are your biblical tools, including prayers, proclamations, and pronouncements to renounce evil spirits and remove them from your life and from the lives of others.

The Spiritual-Industrial Complex

America's Religious Battle against Communism in the Early Cold War

In his farewell address, Dwight D. Eisenhower warned the nation of the perils of the military-industrial complex. But as Jonathan Herzog shows in this insightful history, Eisenhower had spent his presidency contributing to another, lesser known, Cold War collaboration: the spiritual-industrial complex. This fascinating volume shows that American leaders in the early Cold War years considered the conflict to be profoundly religious; they saw Communism not only as godless but also as a sinister form of religion. Fighting faith with faith, they deliberately used religious beliefs and institutions as part of the plan to defeat the Soviet enemy. Herzog offers an illuminating account of the resultant spiritual-industrial complex, chronicling the rhetoric, the programs, and the policies that became its hallmarks. He shows that well-known actions like the addition of the words "under God" to the Pledge of Allegiance were a small part of a much larger and relatively unexplored program that promoted religion nationwide. Herzog shows how these efforts played out in areas of American life both predictable and unexpected--from pulpits and presidential appeals to national faith drives, military training barracks, public school classrooms, and Hollywood epics. Millions of Americans were bombarded with the message that the religious could not be Communists, just a short step from the all-too-common conclusion that the irreligious could not be true Americans. Though the spiritual-industrial complex declined in the 1960s, its statutes, monuments, and sentiments live on as bulwarks against secularism and as reminders that the nation rests upon the groundwork of religious faith. They continue to serve as valuable allies for those defending the place of religion in American life.
